Began after a realization of the lack of health conscious, fast-casual restaurant opinions in Tacoma, Washington. Being natives of the area we jumped at the opportunity to fill the void and provide our own community with good healthy food.
We offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, wholesome smoothies with no added sweeteners, soups, wraps, and healthy snacks all while catering to individual dietary restrictions from those with celiac disease to those who live a vegan lifestyle and beyond.
At Garden's, a main feature that stands out, aside from our deliciously prepared salads, is the interaction we have with our guests. Our goal is for everyone to leave satisfied and feeling like friends and family. This is our chance to give back to our city after it has given so much to us.
Nyesha Jones - CHEF/CO-OWNER
Nyesha has had a passion for cooking since as far back as she can remember. Growing up she would help her family in the kitchen at every opportunity. In high school, she enrolled in the ProStart program and participated in culinary competitions where her love for food grew.
She furthered her education at Le Cordon Bleu, and once completed, landed a job at Pacific Grill in downtown Tacoma. After 7 years in the fine dining industry, Nyesha felt the urge to leave life as a pastry chef and pursue her own endeavors. "My love for baking and pastry will always be there, but it's my love for food as a whole that drives me."
